Grape:100% Caricalasino, a rare native grape of Piedmont which was in danger of disappearing. Patrizia Marenco discovered some old vines in the Bagnario Valley, at Strevi, and in 1990 decided to experiment. About 3000 plants of this mysterious variety were reproduced and the wine that resulted was amazing: well-structured, delicately aromatic, versatile with food pairing, and surprisingly age-worthy.
